Abbaye winner Mabs Cross to be offered at Tattersalls December Mares Sale
Five-year-old will enter the ring as lot 1818
Group 1-winning sprinter Mabs Cross will be offered as lot 1818 at the Tattersalls December Mares Sale on Tuesday December 3.
The popular performer gained her greatest moment when landing last year's Prix de l'Abbaye at Longchamp and is a seven-time winner who was also placed in the Nunthorpe and King's Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot.
Although the daughter of Dutch Art opened up this season with victory in the Palace House at Newmarket, Mabs Cross has not quite repeated her feats of 2018 and was last seen finishing ninth in last weekend's Qipco British Champions Sprint Stakes.
She will be consigned by trainer Michael Dods’ Denton Hall Stables on behalf of owner David Armstrong.
Mabs Cross is out of the Listed Hilary Needler Stakes winning Pivotal mare Miss Meggy and is a half-sister to the Grade 3 Senorita Stakes winner Charlie Em.
The Tattersalls December Mares Sale takes place between December 2 and 5, with catalogues online from this Friday.
