'Land Force is showing himself to be a very appealing bet' - Highclere

Six-year-old Land Force's fee for 2023 will remain steady at £5,000, Highclere Stud announced on Thursday.

The son of No Nay Never won three of his nine starts on the track, most notably the Group 2 Richmond Stakes at Glorious Goodwood, and he is out of Rock Of Gibraltar mare Theann.

Bred by the late Evie Stockwell, he commanded €350,000 at the Goffs Orby Yearling Sale in 2017, when bought by Magnier/Mayfair.

Highclere's Jake Warren said: “Land Force’s fee will remain at £5,000 1st Oct SLF for the 2023 season. His yearlings have sold extremely well this autumn, averaging £36,008, which is seven times his stud fee.

"His highest-price lot was 180,000gns and his incredible immediate family have produced two Group 1-winning two-year-old colts this year in Auguste Rodin and Victoria Road."

Warren added: "Considering the strength of No Nay Never and Sioux Nation's progeny on the track, with this dominant sire line, his wonderful pedigree and good-looking stock, Land Force is showing himself to be a very appealing bet for breeders looking for a big up.”
