One difficult decision has had to be made by Sue Howell as the racing career of her Scottish National winner Win My Wings was brought to an end just a few days ago.

A perhaps more emotional one awaits as she ponders what to do with the mare once she has completed her recuperation from a minor tendon injury which flared up during preparations for last month’s Charlie Hall Chase.

"When she’s normally out of training, we have her at home with us, and we love that, she’s fantastic to look after," explains Howell, who has a background in farming and is based near Monmouth.
