Betting shops in Haywards Heath might have a few new faces to put alongside the infamous 'Pencil Man' in their gallery of banned customers if one winning system continues for much longer.
A cluster of grey-haired punters from a nearby retirement village have been taking them to the cleaners by following Capricorn Prince and Platinum Prince, two half-brothers bred by Chris and Andrea Wilkinson who have won all three starts this year on the Kempton and Lingfield Polytracks for Gary Moore's nearby Horsham stable.
"They heard we’ve got the horses and there’s a regular little group that gets together and put bets on," explains Andrea. "One chap in the bookies told Chris, 'There’s a lady who comes in and I always say to her, 'Right, which Prince is running today?' because she only ever backs your horses’.
