The Middleham Park Racing banner is flying high amid the leading syndicate's best season ever, the campaign including a Group 1 winner in the tough-as-teak Prix de l'Abbaye heroine The Platinum Queen, whose victory sparked exuberant celebrations at Longchamp.
The rest of the two-year-old squad is replete with black-type winners and performers too, bought as yearlings by a team who have been back in sales ground action at Tattersalls this week.
Only last week, just up the road at the Rowley Mile, Queen Mary Stakes second Maylandsea added more valuable black type to her page when second in the Cornwallis Stakes, as did Zetland Stakes third Dear My Friend.
