Tweenhills resident Charm Spirit heading to Haras du Saint Logis for 2021
The son of Invincible Spirit has sired 24 stakes performers to date
Top-class miler and promising young sire Charm Spirit has relocated to Haras du Saint Logis from Tweenhills Farm for the 2021 breeding season.
The son of Invincible Spirit, the winner of three Group 1s including the Prix du Moulin and Queen Elizabeth II Stakes in 2014, had previously stood at the Aga Khan's Haras de Bonneval in 2016 and 2018 but will now return to France for the forthcoming breeding season.
Now nine-years-old, Charm Spirit has sired 24 stakes performers to date -including seven individual Group winners - and among his best offspring includes Australian Group 2 winner Fascino, three-time Group 3 scorer Kick On, formerly a runner in the Qatar Racing silks, and J Swap Matamata Breeders Stakes victor Aretha.
Out of the winning Montjeu mare L'Enjoleuse, Charm Spirit was a €140,000 purchase from Arqana's October Yearling Sale when offered by Monceaux.
Charm Spirit, who stood for a fee of £8,500, covered 15 mares in 2020, having served 92 the previous year and 15 in 2018.
