Lanwades set introductory fee for Prix du Jockey Club hero Study Of Man
Tariffs also set for Sea The Moon, Sir Percy and Bobby's Kitten
Prix du Jockey Club hero Study Of Man has been set an introductory fee of £15,000 ahead of his debut season on covering duty at Lanwades Stud in Newmarket.
The son of Deep Impact is not only a Classic winner but hails from a superb Niarchos family, being a grandson of the mighty Miesque.
Such a lineage means that Study Of Man, who also ran out an impressive winner of the Group 2 Prix Greffulhe, shares his immediate family with the likes of Kingmambo, East Of The Moon, Alpha Centauri, Karakontie, Rumplestiltskin and Real Steel.
Study Of Man will stand alongside German Derby winner Sea The Moon, who is priced at £15,000 for the sixth consecutive season.
The son of Sea The Stars has continued to impress with his debut crop of three-year-olds, among which are the Group 3 winners Hamariyna and Quest The Moon and the talented Pattern performer Pondus.
Sea The Moon's second crop of juveniles is headed by the rapidly progressive Group 2 Debutante Stakes scorer Alpine Star.
Another young sire on the Lanwades roster is Bobby's Kitten, and the Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint-winning son of Kitten's Joy has been pitched at £8,000 for the year in which his debut two-year-olds will hit the track.
Completing the roster is the redoubtable Sir Percy, sire of Group 1 winners Sir John Hawkwood and Wake Forest. The 2006 Derby winner will stand for £7,000 for the sixth breeding season running.
