Irish Guineas trial scorer Keeper Of Time back in front at Gulfstream
Mehmas filly was bought for just €3,000 at Goffs
Keeper Of Time, the Mehmas filly who was last seen in Europe winning the 1,000 Guineas Trial at Leopardstown last April, got herself back on the scoresheet on the eve of the Pegasus World Cup at Gulfstream on Friday.
Owner John Nolan bought the short yearling for just €3,000 at the Goffs February Sale in 2019 and she landed the Group 3 for John Feane before being sold privately to America.
Keeper Of Time has moved to the Brendan Walsh stable under a partnership including Bradley Thoroughbreds and had been third at stakes level on two occasions before finishing fourth in the Grade 3 Suwannee River Stakes at Gulfstream last month.
Walsh dropped her to handicap company on this occasion and she scored under Tyler Gaffalione in the sort of comfortable style that suggests she will be back up in class next time.
Keeper Of Time was bred out of the Mustanfar mare Motheeba, who was Listed-placed in Italy. The dam's next foal, also sold by Tullogher House Stud, is the Mastercraftsman-sired Maggie's Delight, who has made one appearance for Mark Johnston.
