There was plenty of interest away from the £620,000 top lot at the Goffs UK Spring Horses in Training and Point-to-Point Sale in Doncaster on Thursday. Find out who else made a noteworthy purchase and what their plans are with our results round-up.

Lust For Glory (Lot 709)

Consigned by Grech and Parkin
Bought by Highflyer Bloodstock for £235,000

"We have always loved her and she has been bought to go back to Nicky Henderson's," said Highflyer's David Minton. "She has a good pedigree and has already got black type. She will definitely run next season and could easily go chasing."

Kupatana (708)

Consigned by Grech and Parkin
Bought by Rathmore Stud for £210,000

"She'll come home to Rathmore Stud for a break and she'll most likely go into training with Henry de Bromhead," said Peter Molony. "She's a very good mare and hopefully we'll have a bit of fun with her over fences. She should suit the jumps programme for mares in Ireland. It's very hard to buy these high-class racemares."

The Brass Man (639)

Consigned by Brittas House Stud
Bought by Tom George for £110,000

"He's a lovely individual by a stallion I like and have had a lot of luck with in Milan," said George.

"He's ready to get on with. He's won his bumper and we'll look to run him in novice hurdles next season. He'll go out in the field now and have a nice summer off. He was the one I've waited for today. He's been bought for some existing owners in the yard."

Claimantakinforgan (723)

Consigned by Grech and Parkin
Bought by Highflyer Bloodstock for £100,000

"He will head back to Nicky Henderson's and is actually for a client of David Minton's, although I did the bidding," said Highflyer's Anthony Bromley. "He's a good Saturday horse to have and was one of the Grech and Parkin partnership's flag bearers. It's really good to keep him."

Arch My Boy (553)

Consigned by Liberty Stables (Martin Smith)
Bought by Peter and Ross Doyle Bloodstock for £65,000

"He's been bought to go to America where he'll be trained by Richard Valentine," said Ross Doyle. "We buy a handful every year with Richard. Fingers crossed he can go to war with this horse pretty quickly at somewhere like Saratoga.

"His form is rock-solid, if you look back to his early days he was running in good races and he had good form in the Champion Bumper, that run worked out fantastically. He's won his last two, has a turn of foot and is a good shape and size."

Jenkins (652)

Consigned by Seven Barrows (Nicky Henderson)
Bought by Charlie Longsdon Racing for £58,000

"His form has been slightly in and out, but he has always been high quality," said Longsdon. "Hopefully being a big fish in a small pond will suit him. He's a fine-looking sort and the aim will be those intermediate or graduation races over the winter."
