Darley release 2019 prices for their US stallions

Medaglia D'Oro, who sired two Breeders' Cup winners last year with Filly and Mare Sprint scorer Bar Of Gold and Classic hero Talismanic, will again command the highest fee among the Jonabell Farm stallions next year at a fee of $200,000.

The son of El Prado's fee rose from $150,000 to $200,000 this year, though Darley subsequently increased his fee to $250,000 on the back of his progeny's Del Mar double.

He also enjoyed a memorable moment in the sales ring when his nine-time Grade 1-winning daughter Songbird was knocked down to Mandy Pope's Whisper Hill Farm for $9.5 million at the Fasig-Tipton November Sale.

Street Sense, Frosted, and Bernardini will each stand at a fee of $50,000. Street Sense's son McKinzie recently won the Grade 1 Pennsylvania Derby and now heads to either the Breeders' Cup Classic or Grade 1 Clark Handicap.

Frosted has had two fully booked seasons at stud and his first foals will sell at the forthcoming Fasig-Tipton and Keeneland November Sales, while Bernardini continues to be a source of stakes winners on dirt with the likes of Lewis Bay and Westwood.

Nyquist's fee will remain at $40,000 having had full books over the past two seasons. Like Frosted, Nyquist's first foals will be selling at the mixed sales in Kentucky. Nyquist became the first champion two-year-old to win the Kentucky Derby undefeated since the great Triple Crown winner Seattle Slew and was only the second ever Breeders' Cup Juvenile winner to capture the Derby.

Medaglia D'Oro's Grade 1-winning son Astern will again shuttle from Australia, having proved popular with American breeders during his first season at stud last year. He will remain at $15,000 in 2019.

Completing the roster at Jonabell are Hard Spun ($40,000), Street Boss ($20,000), Animal Kingdom ($15,000) and Midshipman ($8,500).

Bernardini's multiple Grade 1-winning son Alpha remains at Sequel Stallions in New York, where he will be offered to breeders at a fee of $5,000.
