Clovis Du Berlais returns to France after two years at Yorton Farm
Clovis Du Berlais is returning to his native France after standing his first two seasons at Yorton Farm Stud in Powys.
The son of multiple champion jumps sire King's Theatre will continue his stallion career at Haras du Lion in western France, a stud that has a close association with Yorton.
Weatherbys reports that Clovis Du Berlais covered 62 mares in 2017 and 43 this year.
One of his first crop conceived at Yorton Farm, a colt out of Kahooting, was a winner of his class at the Thoroughbred Breeders' Association 'Stars of Tomorrow' National Hunt Foal Show in July.
A half-brother to smart chaser Caid Du Berlais, Clovis Du Berlais won over hurdles and fences at Auteuil, and finished second in the Grade 2 Prix Amadou to close relation Bonito Du Berlais.
Also resident at Haras du Lion are the likes of Balko, Diamond Green, Feel Like Dancing and Storm The Stars.
