Already represented by the likes of Enable, Logician and Siskin in recent weeks, the powerhouse breeding operation of Juddmonte Farms might just have thrown up another superstar in Quadrilateral.

The two-year-old filly, trained by Roger Charlton for Juddmonte owner Khalid Abdullah, is now unbeaten in two starts after strolling to a nine-length success in the Dubai Duty Free Full of Surprises British EBF Fillies' Conditions Stakes over seven furlongs at Newbury on Friday.

Having been held up in last by jockey Jason Watson, she showed a thrilling change of gears to ease past her rivals for a deeply impressive victory. Kalsara, a daughter of first-crop sire Muhaarar, was a distant second in a contest won by useful sorts such as Dabyah, Hazel Lavery and Nathra in recent seasons.

Charlton reported after the race he is considering supplementing her for the bet365 Fillies' Mile at Newmarket or going for the Prix Marcel Boussac on Arc day at Longchamp, for which she holds an engagement.

Watson said of the filly newly promoted to 1,000 Guineas favouritism: "She’s beaten the field well there. We've always liked her and she's a strong two-year-old, but she should strengthen a bit next year.

"She's got a great temperament and the education from her first run has done her some good. She came out of that race well. Who knows what the future holds for her?"

Quadrilateral is by the crowning achievement of Abdullah's 40 years in racing: his homebred unbeaten dual world champion Frankel, who stands at his Banstead Manor Stud in Newmarket at a fee of £175,000.

With four crops of racing age, Frankel has supplied nine Group/Grade 1 winners including Logician – unbeaten in five starts culminating in a decisive victory in the St Leger this month – and this season's Oaks heroine Anapurna and Falmouth Stakes victress Veracious.

Quadrilateral is the fourth foal out of the Mizzen Mast mare Nimble Thimble, an auction maiden winner over nine and a half furlongs at Wolverhampton for Charlton and the dam of two other scorers in Boardman (by Kingman) and Balestra (by Bated Breath).

Nimble Thimble is a half-sister to a horse who should perhaps teach us to be a little cautious about getting carried away with breathtaking displays of power at two, in Three Valleys.

The son of Diesis looked like the second coming when he won the Coventry Stakes by eight lengths at Royal Ascot in 2003, but he flopped in the Phoenix Stakes next time out and although he redeemed his reputation to a degree by taking the Middle Park Stakes he was later disqualified in controversial circumstances after testing positive for clenbuterol.

Three Valleys was beaten into second by Milk It Mick in the Dewhurst and by Haafhd in the Craven Stakes and after finishing down the field in the 2,000 Guineas he raced in the US, where he claimed Grade 2 laurels and was also Grade 1-placed.

Quadrilateral's prospects need not be defined by Three Valleys failure to live up to his wide-margin Coventry Stakes triumph, though, as this is a family that has produced countless celebrities for Juddmonte since Abdullah's private purchase of Nimble Thimble's third dam Sookera, a Cheveley Park Stakes winner by Roberto, from Robert Sangster in the early 1980s.

Nimble Thimble and Three Valleys are out of Skiable, a Listed-placed Niniski half-sister to legendary Juddmonte blue hen Hasili, dam of five elite winners – Banks Hill, Cacique, Champs Elysees, Heat Haze and Intercontinental – as well as the multiple Group/Grade 1-placed Dansili, source of 21 top-flight winners during his stallion career at Banstead Manor Stud.

Juddmonte have reaped rewards for combining the influences of Frankel and this family before, through the classy Mirage Dancer, who is out of Heat Haze, and this season's Prix de Sandringham winner Obligate, who is out of Hasili's unraced daughter Responsible.

Skiable is also a half-sister to Charlton's Listed winner Arrive, later the dam of high-class racemares Promising Lead and Visit; Kid Gloves, the winning dam of French and US Grade 2 scorer Treat Gently; and Dissemble, the unraced mother of Leroidesanimaux, a multiple Grade 1 winner and sire of Kentucky Derby and Dubai World Cup hero Animal Kingdom.

Nimble Thimble also has a yearling filly by Frankel, as well as a colt foal by Kingman. She was covered by Banstead Manor Stud newcomer Expert Eye this season.
