The Aga Khan Studs have released their fees for the upcoming breeding season, with established leading sires Sea The Stars and Siyouni leading the way at unchanged fees of €150,000 and €140,000 respectively.

Gilltown Stud resident Sea The Stars enjoyed a fantastic year, with unbeaten miler Baaeed, winner of the Prix du Moulin and Queen Elizabeth II Stakes, and Prix Vermeille heroine Teona leading the way.

The brilliant son of Cape Cross was also represented by the top-priced filly and the top-priced colt at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale. His fee remains at €150,000 for 2022.

Siyouni, who resides at Haras de Bonneval, had another exceptional season, particularly thanks to St Mark's Basilica, who went through the year unbeaten, with top-level victories in the French 2,000 Guineas, French Derby, Eclipse and Irish Champion Stakes.

The 14-year-old was responsible for 36 stakes performers worldwide, including five stakes-winning juveniles. His yearlings have sold for up to €1,500,000, while he finishes the season as the leading sire in France for the seventh consecutive year.

Zarak: has made an exciting start with his first juveniles

Fellow Haras de Bonneval resident and exciting first-season sire Zarak has had his fee more than doubled to €25,000 from €12,000 this term.

A son of Dubawi and Zarkava, Zarak has sired 14 individual winners led by Group 3 Preis der Winterkonigin scorer Lizaid, the Listed-winning Parnac, Prix Marcel Boussac runner-up Times Square and Criterium International third Purplepay.

Zarak is the leading first-season sire in France by prize-money and the leading first-season sire in Europe by percentage of winners to runners.

Dariyan, a Group 1-winning son of Shamardal who has sired Listed winner Mister Saint Paul among a number of stakes performers from his first crop, will stand in France at a fee of €5,000. The nine-year-old has had a number of winners from his second crop of juveniles.

The team is completed by Harzand, a dual Derby-winning son of Sea The Stars who resides at Gilltown. A top-three sire in Europe by percentage of winners to runners, the eight-year-old has had an impressive 90 per cent of all his runners win or be placed. His fee will also stand at €5,000.
