Seamus Buckley spent over 50 years working in racing, including 23 years as clerk of the course at Goodwood. In the lead up to the 2019 Qatar Goodwood Festival, he sat down with Sam Hanson to recount memories of that career, from childhood, through his riding days and to that infamous Sussex Stakes day when over 50mm of rain fell in one day.
