The 10yo Chirico Vallis tackles his first veterans' chase having run really well when third in the Classic at Warwick last month and he has leading claims off the same mark in this less-competitive race. Belami Des Pictons is feared most on the back of a good second at Exeter, with Dingo Dollar third on the list.

On the up and with conditions in his favour, Blue Flame looks the one to beat, with the sternest opposition likely to come from the well-handicapped Dewey Road. Topweight Wudashudacuda showed more encouraging signs last time and is third on the list.

Strong Power isn't opposed lightly as he bids for four in a row but the speedy Look Out Louis definitely had a bit more in hand then the neck winning margin suggests over C&D last time and can make it 3-5 on the AW.
