The Punt Daily: Robbie Wilders' horseracing tip at Punchestown on Wednesday
EACH-WAY PLAY
Motown Maggie(2.40 Punchestown)
This hardy five-year-old has never finished out of the first three in six starts for Gordon Elliott and has been unfortunate to keep bumping into useful mares. She had no chance of giving 6lb to Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle favourite Allegorie De Vassy two starts back and found conceding 7lb to Ailie Rose (franked the form with a close fourth in a Listed race on Tuesday) too much at Ayr last time.
Motown Maggie gets in off a light weight on her handicap debut and has been handed a decent opening mark of 113. She is bred to appreciate an extra half-mile and can claim this 3m½f handicap hurdle.
