The catalogue for the inaugural Tattersalls May National Hunt Sale has been released and features 52 youngsters in the store horse section and three initial entries for the horses-in-training and point-to-point segments, which remain open for entries until Monday, May 23.

Baroda Stud consigns three horses-in-training as part of the dispersal of the stock of the late Ann and Alan Potts. The trio is headed by Sizing Pottsie, an eight-year-old son of Kapgarde who won the Grade 2 Webster Cup Chase at Navan in March for Jessica Harrington.

Harrington also trains Sizing Mauritius, a five-year-old Martaline gelding who won a Kilbeggan maiden hurdle last week, and he is joined in the sale by his year-younger Walk In The Park half-brother.

There are four two-year-olds and 38 three-year-olds catalogued for the store horse section and the older group includes a Getaway filly out of Grade 3 Punchestown Mares' Hurdle winner Mae's Choice consigned by Castledillon Stud.

WH Bloodstock offers a Kapgarde gelding out of Omessa Has, who was placed four times in Listed company in France, and Steve Lloyd consigns a Walk In The Park gelding out of Prospero Belle, a King's Theatre half-sister to Grade 1 winner Monalee.

Edmond Mahony, chairman of Tattersalls, said: "We are delighted with the response to the new Tattersalls May National Hunt Sale, which will take place at our Newmarket base.

"Park Paddocks has proven itself to be an outstanding location for successful National Hunt sales and to have the three high-class lots from the Ann and Alan Potts partial dispersal, in addition to more than 50 quality store horses, is a real vote of confidence in this new Tattersalls National Hunt fixture.

"We are taking entries for point-to-pointers and horses-in-training and the catalogue looks set to have plenty to offer for a wide cross-section of buyers."

The sale will take place on Thursday, May 26, beginning at 11am with the point-to-pointers and horses-in-training.
