With You emulated her sister We Are to become another Group 1 winner in the colours of her owner and breeder George Strawbridge with an impressive performance in the Prix Rothschild at Deauville on Sunday.

Well backed in the build up to the mile contest, With You was always up at the business end of the contest and pulled away impressively from Godolphin's Crown Walk, Dubawi's 100th Group winner, to win by three lengths and hand British breeders a one-two.

The Freddy Head-trained filly was a winner on debut last September and has not raced outside of Group company since, winning the Prix des Reservoirs at Deauville on her final start at two.

Her victory on Sunday pays tribute to the hugely popular Laurens, With You having finished second behind the John Dance-owned filly in the Prix Saint-Alary and fifth behind her in the Prix de Diane most recently.

The biggest tribute, though, is to George Starwbridge and the prolific family descending from the quality mare Bellarida, an outstanding producer in her own right and whose daughters are responsible for a host of stakes winners.

In the case of With You, the mare is In Clover, a daughter of Inchinor, who was already a Group 1 producer thanks to We Are, also a daughter of Dansili, who won the Prix de l'Opera at Longchamp.

In Clover is also the dam of the Listed scorers Dream Clover and Incahoots and there is every chance of more to come with George Strawbridge having sought to repeat his success with her.

She has a two-year-old sister by Dansili and last year delivered a colt by the Juddmonte sire, who was retired from stallion duties at Banstead Manor earlier this year.

With You becomes his 131st stakes winner and 21st scorer at the highest level.

The Jean-Clause Rouget-trained Mission Impassible represented Galileo's latest opportunity to equal his sire Sadler's Wells' Group/Grade 1 record of 73 but she faded into fifth.
