A Walk In The Park half-brother to Irish Gold Cup winner Bellshill is among a 22-strong field declared for division one of the Seamus and Annie Hughes Memorial Maiden Hurdle at Punchestown on Sunday.

Bred by Frank Motherway, Do Whatever sold to Aiden Murphy from Yellowford Farm for €70,000 at the 2017 Tattersalls Ireland November National Hunt Sale.

The six-year-old sports the colours of JP McManus and there will no doubt be hope he can enjoy some of the success of his prolific older brother.

Out of the Be My Native mare Fairy Native, Do Whatever is a half-brother to five winners including the former Willie Mullins-trained star. Bellshill, by King's Theatre, won 11 times under rules for the Wylies, with his two bumper successes including the Grade 1 event at the Punchestown festival in 2015.

The gelding won his first three starts over hurdles, including the Grade 1 Lawlor's Hotel Novice Hurdle and Grade 2 Navan Novice Hurdle, before finishing the season with a run behind Altior in the Supreme Novices' Hurdle and then a second in the Grade 1 Doom Bar Sefton Novices' Hurdle and a score in the Grade 1 Irish Daily Mirror Novice Hurdle.

Bellshill's five wins over fences included the Grade 1 Punchestown Gold Cup in 2018, as well as the Irish Gold Cup in February 2019. His total prize-money came to just over £560,000.

His half-brother is set to face a field that includes the once-raced Clodders Dream, disappointing on that effort last month but a Martaline full-brother to the smart Tweed Skirt and a half-brother to the Grade 2-placed Petticoat Tails, by Presenting.

Another rival to catch the eye on pedigree is Ivoir Borget, a son of Saddex out of a winning Kadalko half-sister to the brilliant dual Champion Chase winner Sprinter Sacre, while Lets Go Champ, a Jeremy full-brother to Grade 2-winning chaser Scarlet And Dove, makes his rules debut for Henry de Bromhead after time off.

Having won his point at Bartlemy in May 2019 for Donnchadh Doyle, the now eight-year-old sold to Roger Brookhouse for £375,000 at the Goffs UK Spring Sale just ten days later.
