Search for next Law Of Indices on as Goffs' online Autumn Yearling Sale begins
The two-day auction kicks off on Tuesday at 10am
Following on from the success of Goffs' online Autumn Horses in Training Sale earlier this month, the Autumn Yearling Sale starts on Tuesday with internet bidding again the way forward.
With 461 lots catalogued before withdrawals, consignors and buyers alike will be hoping for an equally smooth two days of trade, despite the country-wide lockdown and restrictions as a result of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The sale has produced several notable graduates, with this year's Group 2 Railway Stakes winner Law Of Indices and Group 3 Weld Park Stakes victress Elysium being picked up for €8,000 and €15,000 respectively.
The Ken Condon-trained Law Of Indices, last seen finishing third behind Sealiway in the Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere at Longchamp in October, was consigned by Rathasker Stud, while Elysium was presented by Tullpark.
Some of the eyecatching lots on offer this year include:
- Lot 94: Ballysax Manor Stud's Prince Of Lir half-brother to Woodcote Stakes winner and Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere second Declaration Of War
- Lot 112: Prospect House's Pride Of Dubai filly out of a half-sister to European champion Dylan Thomas and Cheveley Park winner Queen's Logic
- Lot 181: Railstown Stud's Alhebayeb half-brother to Criterium International scorer Zafisio
- Lot 212: Buckley Bloodstock's Buratino half-sister to Prix de l'Opera heroine Kinnaird and Royal Lodge winner Berkshire
- Lot 263: Rathbarry Stud's Acclamation colt out of a half-sister to July Cup and Prix de la Foret winner Limato
Goffs group chief executive Henry Beeby said following the close of play at the Autumn HIT Sale: "The Autumn Yearling Sale offers buyers serious bang for their buck, with just two examples from last year’s sale being the Group winners Laws Of Indices and Elysium, who were bought for €8,000 and €15,000 respectively, and this year’s catalogue features plenty more quality and value."
The sale takes place as a live online auction from 10am on Tuesday and Wednesday. Walking and conformation videos are available.
