Reliable Man, the Prix du Jockey-Club and Queen Elizabeth Stakes winner, will return to Gestut Rottgen for the 2021 covering season after spending his last three years standing in France.

During his previous four-year stint at Rottgen, the grey had some notable successes including champion German two-year-old Erasmus, Group winners Narella and Akribie and the German Oaks runner-up Naida.

His fourth crop are two-year-olds this year, with six winners from 33 foals, while he has also produced a host of Group 1 performers in Australia and New Zealand including Miss Sentimental and Miami Bound. He was most recently standing at Haras d'Annebault at a fee of €7,000

"We look forward to welcoming Reliable Man back to Rottgen and we shall certainly continue to support him with some of our best mares," said stud manager Frank Dorff.

"In his first three years here we bred three Group winners and a Listed winner from only 13 foals. From the Reliable Man foals we bred in his first three years, 77 per cent are winners, 31 per cent are black type winners and 23 per cent Group winners.

"He consistently produces good looking, correct horses and they are able to run at two and then compete in the best races from 2000-2400m at three."
