Old friends reunite for success with Julian Ince's Haras du Logis

Haras du Logis has been visited by several ghosts of the past this summer, so much so that one has reinstalled himself back on the stallion roster at Julian Ince's Normandy farm.

Back in 2017 the Darley stallions among the offerings at Logis included crack Australian sprinter Exosphere and multiple European Group 1 winner Rio De La Plata.

Both were to subsequently serve time elsewhere but have had illuminating seasons with runners in France. Exosphere, the Golden Rose Stakes winner who returned to his homeland without igniting any great fervour, has an impressive strike-rate from his small resulting crop and has just had his first Group winner in the northern hemisphere, his progressive son Ocean taking Deauville's Prix de Ris-Orangis.
