Happy Romance has already exceeded Oliver McMurray and his family's dreams, but the prolific daughter of Dandy Man could yet take excitement to even greater heights both during and after her stellar racing career.
A canny buy from breeders Redpender Stud when selling to Peter and Ross Doyle for £25,000 at the 2019 Goffs UK Premier Yearling Sale, the three-year-old filly affectionately known as 'Happy' has already more than repaid connections' faith.
McMurray says: "This is our first experience of racehorse ownership and when you spend £25,000 on a filly, you're dreaming to think you could nick a bit of black type, let alone win two Group 3s and finish a close fourth in a Group 1.
