Group winner Yucatan retired to stand at Lack Stallion Station in Poland
The son of Galileo was also runner-up in the Racing Post Trophy
Dual Group winner and Racing Post Trophy runner-up Yucatan has retired from racing and will stand at Lack Stallion Station in Poland for the forthcoming breeding season.
The son of Galileo and three-time Group/Grade 1 scorer Six Perfections was a maiden winner at two on his second start before finishing second behind Rivet Delight in the Doncaster showpiece.
He was twice Group placed at three before landing the Group 3 Finlay Volvo International Stakes at four and then the Group 2 Herbert Power Stakes in Australia later that year for Aidan O'Brien. He then changed stables to Liam Howley and, following two below-par efforts, swapped to Joseph O'Brien.
Bred by the Niarchos family, the now six-year-old is a full-brother to Listed winner and Beresford Stakes runner-up Mount Everest plus Grade 3 Modesty Handicap scorer Faufiler.
He is also a half-brother to Planet Five, a son of Storm Cat who won the Group 2 Prix Du Gros-Chene for Pascal Bary.
Six Perfections, a daughter of Celtic Swing and Yogya, won the Prix Marcel Boussac at two before following up in the Prix Jacques le Marois and Breeders' Cup Mile at three for Bary. She was also second to Russian Rhythm in the 1,000 Guineas and runner-up behind Yesterday in the Irish equivalent.
Yucatan is her highest-rated offspring on RPRs and won three of his 16 starts in total plus £373,512 in prize-money.
