Prospective buyers will be on the lookout for more bargains at Tatteralls Ireland's rescheduled November Foal & Breeding Stock Sale, with graduates Champers Elysees and The Lir Jet reaching great heights this year. The action begins at the Fairyhouse sales complex at 11am on Wednesday.

The Johnny Murtagh-trained Champers Elysees was a €12,500 pinhook by Aughamore Stud at this sale three years ago. Sold on to the trainer for €28,000, the daughter of Elzaam provided connections with a glorious four-timer this term, resulting in victory over Classic heroine Peaceful in the Matron Stakes at Leopardstown.

Other notable graduates include Royal Ascot hero The Lir Jet, also runner-up in the Phoenix Stakes and a €9,500 buy from Rockton Stud by Joe Foley in 2018, plus Molecomb winner Steel Bull, who was signed for by Madeline Burns at just €5,000 when offered by Rathasker Stud.

This year's sale may have been pushed back a month as a result of the ongoing coronavirus restrictions, but the quality remains among the 190 catalogued lots.

As well as foals and breeding stock, the sale sees the addition of a new yearling section, with 66 of the 109 entered yearlings originally having been selected for the September Yearling Sale, and are therefore eligible for next year's €300,000 Tattersalls Ireland Super Auction Sales Stakes.

Among the stallions represented at the sale are this year's outstanding first-season sire Mehmas - responsible for Middle Park Stakes hero Supremacy and with seven lots going under the hammer here - as well as established names such as Mastercraftsman, Footstepsinthesand, Teofilo, Zoffany and Kodiac.

Among the eyecatching lots on offer are Al Eile Stud's No Nay Never yearling half-sister (lot 975) to Kilboy Estate Stakes third Annie Fior, the Bushertown-consigned Mastercraftsman half-brother (981) to the multiple winner and stakes-placed Replenish plus Rathbarry Stud's Kodiac filly, a half-sister to Listed winner and Prix Maurice de Gheest third Tupi (986)
