The triumph of Godolphin homebred Coroebus in the Qipco 2,000 Guineas is a result that should not be underestimated in its importance for Sheikh Mohammed's global racing and breeding operations.
The exciting colt is the third Guineas winner and 49th top-level scorer for Darley's supersire Dubawi, who at the age of 20 is not getting any younger, but has exciting sons ensconced at Dalham Hall and Kildangan Stud respectively - namely the established Night Of Thunder, as well as newer recruits Ghaiyyath, Too Darn Hot and Space Blues.
