Galileo: David Brocklehurst cannot see him being sold off 'like a bag of sweets'
Perennial champion sire Galileo will have six yearling fillies sell next month

Outstanding multiple South African Grade 1 winner Cloth Of Cloud will be offered in foal to perennial champion sire Galileo at the Tattersalls July Sale.

A daughter of South Africa's late Captain Al, Cloth Of Cloud was champion two-year-old filly in 2016 and is a half-sister to Grade 1-winning filly Silver Mountain as well as being from the family of US performers Hidden Light and Artie Schiller.

She will be offered by the Castlebridge Consignment who will also offer Group 3 winner Czabo in foal to Lope De Vega and the Street Cry mare Travel in foal to The Gurkha.

The chance for buyers to snap up stock by Coolmore's heavyweight will continue at the auction with Castlebridge offering six yearling fillies by Galileo, including the half-sister to Group 2 heroine Besharah and the second foals out of Australian top-level winners Nechita and Sea Siren.

High-class fillies Award Winning and C'est Ca also also form part of a classy consignment for Castlebridge at this year's sale.

Tattersalls chairman Edmond Mahony said: "The Tattersalls July Sale is well established as Europe's premier midsummer sale and this year's sale is shaping up to be an outstanding renewal.

"The star South African mare Cloth Of Cloud presents a very rare opportunity to buy a young Group 1 winner in foal to the extraordinary Galileo and the six Galileo yearling fillies will add an extra dimension to a sale which already annually attracts a global audience."
