Settled behind leaders, 5th halfway, took closer order in 2nd approaching 2 out, ridden well before last but no extra and dropped to 4th last (op 14/1 tchd 18/1)
Chased leaders 4th halfway, not fluent 3 out, dropped towards rear after 2 out and ridden, went 5th well before last but no extra and one pace (op 12/1)
In rear, ridden in 8th 2 out but no extra well before last and one pace (jockey said regarding running and riding that his instructions were to stay on the rail in about fifth or sixth position and to try and win from the fourth last hurdle. Adding, that when he jumped off his mount got crowded and as a result did not jump well over the first two hurdles, he stayed on the rails and switched to the outside before the third last hurdle at which stage his horse started leaning left and it was difficult to ride out the finish he would have wanted.
