The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with two to follow on Tuesday

BANKER
Neil Mulholland's six-year-old caught the eye when winning a handicap hurdle off a mark of 102 in November last year, quickening away nicely for a horse of that grade. That was his last run over hurdles, however, and he returned to the track earlier this month off his basement Flat mark for a 2m Chepstow handicap. Well punted before the off, The Way You Dance travelled like the proverbial good thing throughout the race but just found the equally well-treated Bailarico, who has won again since, too good on the day. The pair were nine lengths clear of the others that day and with just a 3lb rise in the weights, he should make amends.
GOOD THING
Midnight Blue(9.10 Wolverhampton)
This is a shocking three-year-old contest with very little form on offer and it looks a perfect starting point for Sir Mark Prescott to get his potential improver Midnight Blue off the mark. Form figures of 0900 as a juvenile – typical of most Prescott two-year-olds running over inadequate trips – Midnight Blue now steps up to beyond a mile for the first time off a mark of 48 and could well be around 20lb ahead of his rating. The son of Pivotal never had a chance over sprinting trips last year, consistently outpaced in the early stages and running green, but his pedigree suggests this step up will help and the fact he has an entry on Thursday could indicate Prescott's intentions.
