Hillcrest Fire(2.05 Aintree)

Hillcrest Fire was a very decent filly on the Flat in Ireland and she made a highly encouraging start to her hurdling career at Leicester last month, despite pulling too hard and not jumping with great fluency. She has loads of improvement in her and with conditions ideal and her stable in excellent form, she can take advantage of the weight she gets from Malaya and Grey Waters. (Tom Segal)

BANKER

Jenkins (2.20 Sandown)

Nicky Henderson has a really good recent record in this Listed 2m hurdle and his sole representative this year, Jenkins, can enhance it further. Disappointing when only seventh of 13 at Cheltenham last time out – two places behind chief market rival William H Bonney – he got outpaced early before staying on late in the day. He will have come on for that run and has been dropped 2lb to help his cause. (Tom Collins)

EYECATCHER

Dellaguista(6.15 Wolverhampton)

Favourite for the all-weather maiden won by Enable last year and her only other start on artificial surfaces came when getting off the mark next time. Left William Haggas in the summer and signs on turf for Tim Easterby of late have been positive, notably when placed at Ayr and Nottingham on her last two outings. Her new trainer is most successful at this track with his all-weather runners and it'll be surprising if this one doesn’t add to his tally in the coming months. (Andrew Cooper)
