Richard Fahey's gelding has only won once in 15 starts but that came over course and distance in May last year and returning here may see him in better light. He has struggled since that score, losing his last ten races, but is now able to race off a 2lb lower mark than when victorious and is fitted with a first-time hood. If he responds to the aid and doesn't race keenly which is so often the case, he should go mighty close. The heavy ground isn't a worry either as Knowing Glance boasts strong form for the grade in testing conditions.
