Sweetspots: Cheltenham king Kelly’s latest Raider worth noting

Two-time course winner Cogry runs in the 2.00 at Cheltenham. The 189-day break should not be a problem at all for the nine-year-old as he was successful in this race last year off the back of a similar absence.
It’s worth paying attention when Irish trainer Pat Kelly brings one over to Cheltenham, with three of his eight runners at the track winning. Dawn Raider bids to improve his excellent record at Prestbury Park in the 3.45.

It might be worth taking a chance on Raakib Alhawa in the 4.05 at Doncaster, with the son of Kingman impressing on his debut for trainer David Simcock. He has booked jockey Andrea Atzeni, who operates at an impressive 57 per cent strike-rate for the trainer at the course.
