Saturday runners: Dicosimo starting to get his act together

Willie Mullins: looking for more winners at Gowran ParkCredit: Patrick McCann
Our fellow, who has two wins over fences to his credit, has fallen on his last two starts. He was tracking the leaders and in contention when he fell two out in the Leopardstown Chase in January last time out. Dropping from 2m5f to 2m2f shouldn't be a problem for him and he's in good form. The concern, however, is the ground as he would appreciate less testing conditions.
He showed signs of getting his act together when second to Don't Touch It at Thurles and, while he didn't jump as well when beaten by Alamein at Fairyhouse last time, I think the step up to 2m4f will suit him. We know he goes on the ground, so he should be there or thereabouts.
