Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's six meetings

Saturday fancies from Chepstow, Fairyhouse, Lingfield, Kempton and more

Saturday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Chepstow

1.08: Hacker Des Places

Ballybreeze was fourth in a warm Aintree novice in December and subsequently finished third off today's mark on his handicap debut. He's open to improvement if he settles better in the early stages here but this is a big drop in class for Hacker Des Places, who made the frame in a valuable Lingfield handicap last month and could be a very tough nut to crack at this level off a 3lb lower mark.
Chris Wilson

Fairyhouse

4.18: Escaria Ten

All of these hold Grand National entries and, at the weights, Burrows Saint may reverse last year's Aintree placings with Any Second Now. The former is bidding to give Willie Mullins a seventh straight win in this race and many will look no further than him, but the first-time blinkered Escaria Ten ran well for a long way on his comeback at Gowran and has a bit more scope for improvement than his three rivals.

Lingfield

3.10: Asadjumeirah

Crimson Sand will be popular after his encouraging return at Chelmsford, while Soldier's Minute and Fizzy Feet should appreciate returning to handicap company. If You Dare and Marks Bear are also in form but Asadjumeirah created a very favourable impression at Newcastle 16 days ago and he can complete his hat-trick.

Kempton

4.10: Stoner's Choice

Soft going excuses a below-par run from Stoner's Choice at Ascot last time out and he's the pick now back on better ground, having been given some help from the handicapper. Haafapiece has been better than ever this season and is feared most, while fellow last-time-out winners Flashing Glance, Herbiers and Storm Dennis are other likely players.
Ben Hutton

Newcastle

3.15: Win My Wings

Eclair Surf ran away with the 3m5f Classic at Warwick last time but today's rivals include several fascinating candidates with plenty of potential for long distances. Irish challenger History Of Fashion finished well on top in his only handicap, while Danilo D'Airy, a revelation already, could easily have more to give. Rath An Iuir would have more to prove away from soft or heavy ground but he is probably a stayer in the making and should be fitter since his reappearance. Preference, though, ahead of History Of Fashion, is for Win My Wings who was back on song on her latest outing with a second performance which points to a serious stamina test being the way forward.
Richard Austen

Wolverhampton

6.45: Aramis Grey

Night Narcissus, Inevitable Outcome and Palifico should all be winning races in the near future but this could be the day for Aramis Grey. She did well to finish as close as she did in a race not run to suit at Lingfield three weeks ago and she still appeals as being ahead of her mark.
