Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's six meetings

Monday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team
Newton Abbot
3.45: Al Muffrih
It's reasonable to expect another good run from Thahab Ifraj but Al Muffrih kept on for an encouraging fourth on last month's handicap hurdle debut and, in view of his Flat ability, he could still have significant untapped potential as a hurdler. Karannelle is a tricky mare to win with but Sean Bowen nearly smuggled her to the front at Worcester a week ago and she remains on a workable mark.
Chris Wilson
Ayr
4.05: Imperial Khan
Mark Winn's last two rides have been winners and he might complete a hat-trick aboard Imperial Khan, who responded well to a hood when third at Hamilton on Saturday. Final Account is second choice ahead of Tiberio Smile.

4.55: Myriad
The most striking contender is the progressive Myriad, who is only 1lb higher than for his clear second behind a rival who was completing a double at Epsom 11 days ago. Second choice is Blue Hero, who may have done too much too soon back at 1m2f last time and still looks feasibly treated on his win at Bath in May. Others to keep an eye on are the lightly raced seven-year-old Mujid and the handicap newcomer Trojan Truth.
David Moon
Killarney
7.15: Ark
A model of consistency, Ark can make the breakthrough now back on a sound surface after running on soft at Bellewstown last time. Her stablemate Honeycomb could be a slow-burner and can't be ignored. Newcomers Stellar Storm and Goodie Two Shoes need a market check.
Tyrone Molloy
Windsor
7.35: La Roca Del Fuego
The most solid case seems to come from La Roca Del Fuego, who showed his rivals a clean pair of heels over course and distance on his latest start, albeit back in April. Having had very little turf racing before that, he showed markedly improved form that day and it was on good to firm ground. Contrastingly, Gherkin has done well here this season on good to soft ground and soft, while Astral Beat's best efforts have been on all-weather. Spring Bloom may register yet another second by chasing La Roca Del Fuego home.
Richard Austen
Wolverhampton
6.55: Show Maker
A few of these are potential revivers back on AW, notably Badri and Politics, while Lady Raeburn and Sarah's Verse both have something to recommend them. None appeals more than Show Maker, however, with the return to 6f very much in his favour. His yard are in fine form, he might not face a huge amount of competition for the lead and his rider's claim is the icing on the cake.
