The Punt Acca: Jack Haynes's three horse racing tips on Monday

New Hope Bullet (2.50 Ffos Las)

This filly can gain back-to-back wins on her nursery debut. She confirmed the promise of her debut fourth behind Dramatised at Newmarket and second at Bath when winning a fillies' novice at Catterick last month. That form has been boosted by the fourth and now 87-rated California Gem winning twice since and there could well be some mileage in an opening mark of 73 for New Hope Bullet.

Tessy Lad (4.25 Ffos Las)

This lightly raced three-year-old ran well for a long way over 7f at Newbury last time and the step up to 1m2f promises to suit. He was beaten just three lengths the last day and this is a drop in grade, facing just one rival rated 70+ compared to eight of his nine rivals having such a rating last time. A big run appears in the offing.

Singing The Blues (5.55 Wolverhampton)

Rod Millman's horses continue to be in fine form and this three-time course winner can go well in the opening 1m6f amateur riders' handicap under the trainer's son Patrick. Singing The Blues has dropped to a mark in the 60s for the first time since winning at Bath in July 2020 and he was not beaten that far when fifth at that track last time, keeping on strongly late on. That suggested he is returning to form and there are plenty of positives about his chances.
