Ayr
2.20: Bootlegger
Spotlight verdict
Multiple chase winner Bafana Blue ran well in a recent marathon event and still looks well handicapped after last month's Wetherby success but the verdict goes to Bootlegger, who has made a very bright start for his new stable this spring and could still have untapped potential over 3m. Tanarpino is next on the list.
Chris Wilson
Fakenham
4.25: Robin Of Sherwood
Spotlight verdict
The 8yo Robin Of Sherwood has been plying his trade at a lower level but the step up to this trip at Warwick triggered further improvement when beating High Counsel and, off only 5lb higher, he has more to offer. High Counsel naturally enters the equation having won since and, while Magic River is risky, he's also very capable as he reminded us at Wincanton.

Lingfield
1.00: Anmaat
Spotlight verdict
A market move for any of the newcomers should be noted with the beautifully bred Motarajja perhaps the most interesting, even if the stable doesn't have many go in at the first time of asking. Glentaneous has the form on the board having already won over C&D, but he might find it tough conceding 7lb to Anmaat, whose debut second at Kempton last November could hardly be working out any better.
David Bellingham
Southwell
4.45: Huntsmans Jog
Spotlight verdict
Although Ebony Gale could not add to his Taunton win last time, he retains potential over fences along with Heavey, who ran well to be second back over hurdles on his latest outing. However, both may have to give best to Huntsmans Jog, a dual point winner who tries his luck over regulation fences after some decent hurdling efforts. Ebony Gale may give him most to do.
Keith McHugh
Wolverhampton
5.30: Sky Lake
Spotlight verdict
The key piece of form is probably a C&D handicap 31 days ago in which three of these clashed. Sky Lake finished ahead of International Law and Weloof that day and is fancied to do so again. Mac McCarthy scored 22 days ago and is second best, ahead of International Law.
