IT seems only natural to conclude that all-weather form derived from Dundalk's Polytrack might translate to something similar on the sands of Laytown. Local trainer Tom McCourt puts the theory to the test by sending two horses who recently gave him a one-two at Dundalk for handicaps on today's annual beach excursion.

My Good Brother has strong prospects of following up his Dundalk win in the At The Races Handicap (3.05). The seven-year-old recorded the seventh success of his career last Sunday week, but as McCourt frankly admitted it has been a long time coming, almost two years since he won a handicap at the same venue off 99. Earlier that season, when his form included a fine third in the Rockingham Handicap at the Curragh, he had achieved a career-high of 104. Against that background, his current 64 rating makes him an attractive proposition now that he has retrieved the winning habit.
