Tim McCarthy's gelding has had plenty of racing and does not have the greatest strike-rate with three wins from 51 starts, but is a consistent seven-year-old who scored over course and distance at this time last year and could bounce back to form on his second run after a break.

He had his first run since May over course and distance last month and had little chance of getting competitive after missing the break by 10 lengths. He did well to catch up after four furlongs, but went wide into the straight and his early exertions soon took their toll in the straight.
