Hoping cheekpieces can help Pat find winning form at Ascot

Good Man Pat is our only entry at Ascot on Friday.
I fear he threw away victory on his two most recent runs. He led at the last at Stratford before getting done and then cantered through the contest at Kempton only to not find as much as appeared likely.
I schooled him in a visor on Monday morning and wasn’t totally convinced by his attitude as he almost looked to curl up. We might try him at home in cheekpieces.
