It was hard work in the end when Fame And Fun scored over 2m3f at Taunton last time but there was encouragement in that performance, including for this longer trip. Havaila, the unexposed juvenile, may prove the chief threat but Seymour Promise, Torula and Sami Bear bring each-way claims and they are not the only ones to be considered.

Triple chase winner Bolsover Bill bumped into a resurgent rival when second at Catterick last week but is evidently still in very good form and can add to his tally here. Getabuck posted a couple of good efforts in blinkers in December and is feared most. Camulus looks quite interesting on today's chasing debut.

Having fared best of the rest behind a notable rival here three weeks ago, Harb could well go one better off the same mark. Mick's Spirit, who has never won away from Lingfield but is ahead of the assessor, gets the percentage call for second choice. Dusky Prince should go well again and Blind Beggar is still of interest.
