Exciting Royal Vacation to outclass Lingfield opponents

At the end of August I interviewed Joe Tizzard about the prospects for many of the Dorset stable's leading lights for the 2016-17 season.

He told me that Cue Card has shown no signs of age at home at all, and appears to be better than ever.

Typically, I let Cue Card's Charlie Hall Chase defeat cloud my overall judgement and tipped Coneygree to beat him in Saturday's Betfair Chase. What a fool!
