Eyecatching entries released for Goffs' boutique Punchestown Sale
Entries have been released for Thursday's Goffs Punchestown Sale, with the boutique catalogue including 14 horses with recent winning or placed form in point-to-points or bumpers.
The auction will be held as a live online sale before racing, with the start time set at 1pm. As in previous years, wildcard entries from racing at Punchestown will be considered until the day of sale.
Among the lots with winning form to their name are the likes of:
Lot 7 - Hidden Heroics, a son of Coastal Path who made a successful debut at Fairyhouse for Denis Murphy
Lot 10 - Gandhi Maker, a son of Policy Maker who made an impressive winning debut at Tipperary for James Doyle
Lot 12 - Western Flyer, a son of Westerner who ran out an easy winner of a Tipperary maiden earlier in April
Lot 13 - Michael Goff's Great D'Ange, a son of Great Pretender who struck at Tipperary
Champion Hurdle heroine Honeysuckle ranks as the Punchestown Sale's current poster girl, having sold to Peter Molony's Rathmore Stud for €110,000 in 2018.
Due to current Covid-19 restrictions, buyers are not permitted to be onsite at Kildare Paddocks during the auction. Prospective purchasers wishing to inspect horses at Goffs on Wednesday or Thursday must do so by appointment only.
