Next week's Tattersalls Online January Sale has attracted 65 entries, including a share in the exciting young stallion Zarak as well as 36 horses in and out of training plus a selection of broodmares.

Taking place on January 18 and 19, the sale offers a share in the Aga Khan Studs' son of Dubawi and Zarkava, the sire being responsible for nine black type winners to date including Group scorers Purplepay, Sirjan, Lavello and the Listed-winning and Classic-placed Times Square.

A breeding right to Whitsbury Manor Stud’s leading first-season sire of 2022 Havana Grey will also be offered, as well as those to the likes of Charming Thought, Harry Angel, Profitable, Ribchester, Territories and Time Test.

The sale also features the Lance Bloodstock reduction comprising seven horses in training and the Oratorio mare Represent Yourself, offered in foal to Equiano. Among the horses in training is the three-time winner Satin Snake, a recent winner at Kempton.

Trainer Ger O’Leary said on behalf of Lance Bloodstock: "Lance Bloodstock is reducing numbers in order to make space for a number of homebred two-year-olds who are in training in my stables. Lance Bloodstock also plans on purchasing a select number of two-year-olds at the upcoming breeze-up sales.

"The horses in training that are being offered have won many races. They have all passed a rigorous vetting process and all have recent racing form.”

Among the broodmares offered are Beswick Brothers Bloodstock's Salome, sold in foal to Shadwell's Sussex Stakes winner Mohaather, while Glebe Farm Stud sells mares including Island Magic, a daughter of Oasis Dream and Oaks heroine Casual Look who will be offered in foal to U S Navy Flag.

A notable addition to the catalogue is the Grade 1-winning hurdler Cilaos Emery, the winner of nine starts for Willie Mullins with his career highlight coming in the Herald Champion Novice Hurdle at Punchestown in 2017. He will be sold by Mullins' Closutton Stables.

Prospect buyers should register from midday on Wednesday, January 18. Bidding is scheduled to close from midday the following day.
