The catalogue for the two-day Tattersalls February Sale is online, with 463 lots and the popular TBA Stallion Parade before the start of the sale set to feature.

Taking place on February 2 and 3, the sale includes 203 fillies and mares in and out of training, 37 broodmares and one stallion, 200 colts and geldings in and out of training, plus 11 yearlings and 11 two-year-olds.

Among the leading owner-breeders with lots on offer are Godolphin, and trainers with drafts include Andrew Balding, Karl Burke, John and Thady Gosden, William Haggas and Richard Hannon.

Godolphin are set to offer 16 horses including well-bred broodmares Dubian To, a black-type producer and daughter of Sea The Stars and dual top-level winner Mrs Lindsay, and Impala, an Oasis Dream half-sister to Group 1 winner Zambezi Sun. Their fillies include Mystery Play, a Golden Horn half-sister to Usherette.

The Castlebridge Consignment's team of 68 includes All Time High, a black-type producer in foal to No Nay Never, while among Barton Sales' consignment are Lunearia, by Galileo and out of Grade 1 winner Luas Line, and Albanderi, a Kingman half-sister to Group 1 winner The Revenant. Barton also sells an unnamed two-year-old Galileo half-brother to Amazing Maria.

The catalogue also includes mares in foal to Group 1 sires Aclaim, Ardad, Dream Ahead, Havana Gold, Make Believe, New Bay, No Nay Never, Territories and Zoustar, as well as young sires Advertise, Kameko, Masar and Waldgeist.

Mickley Stud will offer the sole stallion lot of the sale in Almanaara, a Shamardal half-brother to leading sire Dark Angel who retired to stud in 2021.

Horses in training include The Castlebridge Consignment's three-year-old Galileo colt Sir Laurence Graff, a full-brother to Listed winner and St Leger fourth Interpretation and the winner of his most recent start, plus the Jamie Railton-consigned Roaring Lion colt Mohatu, a winner at Lingfield earlier this month.

Tattersalls chairman Edmond Mahony said: "The Tattersalls February Sale continues to be a source of high-quality breeding stock and horses in training, with the dams of last year’s Group 2-winning two-year-olds The Ridler and Isaac Shelby bought for just 2,500gns and 4,500gns respectively, as well as high-class 2022 Royal Ascot winner Missed The Cut, who was purchased at last year’s February Sale for 40,000gns.

"There is no shortage of top-class breeding stock and horses in training in this year’s catalogue, including a quality consignment from Godolphin and from many of Britain and Ireland’s leading trainers and stud farms."

He continued: "Along with the two-year-olds and yearlings on offer, this year’s February Sale looks certain to appeal to the usual diverse mix of domestic and international buyers who have made the Tattersalls February Sale Europe’s undisputed leading midwinter sale.”
