Shade Oak Stud in Shropshire took to social media on Valentine's Day to share news of the arrival of the first foal for its Hardwicke Stakes scorer , who landed the Group 2 at Royal Ascot in the colours of the Queen.

The filly is out of the Flemensfirth mare Mobhi Boreen and arrived early on Thursday morning, and is described by Shade Oak as a "beautiful, big, dark bay filly".

The filly is Mobhi Boreen's fourth foal and is a granddaughter of dual Listed-winning hurdler Boreen Belle - the dam of Lismullen Hurdle winner Rose Of Inchiquin, Thyestes Chase heroine Be My Belle and Tempest Belle, the mother of Savills Chase runner-up and Cheltenham Festival contender Monalee.

Mobhi Boreen also has a four-year-old gelding and three-year-old colt, both by Fair Mix, and a two-year-old Recharge colt.

Dartmouth stands at a £3,000 fee at Shade Oak.
