Lot 15
b c Medaglia D’Oro-Golden Attitude (Redoute’s Choice)
Consigned by Ecurie des Monceaux

Last year’s sale-topping consignor will be hoping to start the show with a bang and this colt, a son of Darley’s leading American sire out of the stakes-placed Golden Attitude, could fit the bill.

The dam is a half-sister to three black-type winners, including Prix du Lys and Prix Minerve scorers Goldwaki and Golden Valentine, while the brilliant multiple top-level winner Goldikova features under the third dam.

Lot 16
b f Frankel-Golden Lily (Dolphin Street)
Consigned by Elevage de Tourgeville

By this year’s leading sire Frankel and out of a Group 1 producer in Golden Lily, this filly is another likely to get the sale off to a bright start.

Hailing from a family that includes the top-class Japanese mare Lys Gracieux, Golden Lily has already been represented by Prix Marcel Boussac scorer Lily’s Candle, a daughter of Style Vendome.

Lot 22
b c Cracksman-Holy Dazzle (Sunday Break)
Consigned by Haras du Cadran

From the first crop of European champion Cracksman, this colt is well-related, being a half-brother to Prix Greffulhe scorer and Haras de la Hetraie’s new recruit Roman Candle.

There is plenty of class further down the page too, not least in the form of Grand Prix de Paris and Prix Lupin winner Chichicastenango.

Lot 31
b f Galiway-Kensea (Kendargent)
Consigned by Haras de Colleville

A filly with significant residual value given she is a sister to last year’s runaway Prix Jean-Luc Lagardère winner Sealiway, who was also second to the brilliant St Mark’s Basilica in this year’s Prix du Jockey Club.

Galiway was the most popular sire in France for the 2021 breeding season by numbers, covering 169 mares, and there is no reason why his progeny should not be in demand in Deauville.

Lot 52
b f Justify-Media Mischief (Into Mischief)
Consigned by Ecurie des Monceaux

By brilliant American Triple Crown winner Justify, this filly boasts a formidable Juddmonte female line. She is out of a placed half-sister to Prix de Diane heroine Nebraska Tornado, Prix Eugène Adam victor
Burning Sun, the Group 1-placed Mirabilis – the dam of Group 3 winner Monarchs Glen – and to the dam of San Gabriel Stakes winner Anothertwistafate.

Sunday

Lot 111
b f Ribchester-Venetias Dream (Librettist)
Consigned by Haras du Logis Saint Germain

A valuable commodity both on the track and later in the paddocks, Haras du Logis Saint Germain’s filly by first-season sire Ribchester is a half-sister to none other than last year’s Poule d’Essai des Pouliches heroine Dream And Do.

The pair are out of a Librettist half-sister to the Athasi Stakes-placed Megec Blis, granddam of multiple Group 1-winning miler and the consignor’s stallion Charm Spirit. Further down the page, Grade 1-winning blue hen Fanfreluche and her grandson, Castle Hyde Stud
sire Holy Roman Emperor, can be found.

Lot 120
gr f Galileo-Ysoldina (Kendor)
Consigned by Haras de Montaigu

The late, great Galileo’s prowess as a broodmare sire is second to none and this filly, although a fabulous racing prospect, is another to hold plenty of residual value.

Out of the Classic-placed Ysoldina – a half-sister to four Group winners including Prix Saint-Alary scorer Belle Et Celebre – the Haras de Montaigu-consigned filly is a half-sister to 2017 Derby hero and Beeches Stud resident Wings Of Eagles and the stakes-placed Gyrella, the dam of this season’s Prix Greffulhe scorer Baby Rider.

Premio Lydia Tesio and Prix Jean Romanet winner Whortleberry, and Group 1 runner-up Appel Au Maitre, also stand out further down the page.

Lot 133
b f Siyouni-Angel Falls (Kingmambo)
Consigned by Ecurie des Monceaux

A page that received as big an update as there is when Adayar won the Derby – and the colt has since gone on to win a top-notch King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes – this filly is by a sire who has seen his stock rise among the very elite stallions in Europe.

While Siyouni is responsible for dual French Classic hero and Eclipse winner St Mark’s Basilica, the filly’s distaff side does not read too shabbily either.

The unraced Kingmambo mare Angel Falls has produced three stakes performers – including Prix Jean-Luc Lagardère scorer National Defense – and is a half-sister to Adayar’s dam Anna Salai.

Lot 148
ch f Dubawi-Blond Me (Tamayuz)
Consigned by The Channel Consignment

This filly is the second foal out of the multiple Group-winning Blond Me, a daughter of Derrinstown Stud sire Tamayuz whose finest hour came in the EP Taylor Stakes for Andrew Balding.

Blond Me is out of a winning half-sister to Glass Harmonium, a Group winner for Sir Michael Stoute who then landed the Mackinnon Stakes
in Australia. Further down the page is St Leger and dual Breeders’ Cup Turf hero Conduit.

Monday

Lot 196
b f Lope De Vega-Honor Bound
Consigned by La Motteraye Consignment

This daughter of Ballylinch Stud's stalwart sire has a wonderful middle-distance pedigree on the distaff side, being out of a Lingfield Oaks Trial winner in Honor Bound.

Honor Bond is in term an Authorized half-sister to Irish Derby and Secretariat Stakes hero Treasure Beach, now a top-level-winning stallion in Florida, as well as the Listed scorer and Curragh Cup third Elidor and Count Octave, second to Stradivarius in the 2018 Lonsdale Cup.

Their dam, the triple-winning Mark Of Esteem mare Honorine, is a half-sister to Hardwicke Stakes scorer Indian Creek, also second in the Prince of Wales's Stakes, and is out of a Listed winner in Bering mare Blue Water.

Lot 239
B c Roaring Lion-New Desire (Dansili)
Consigned by Normandie Breeding

There will be a poignant note to proceedings with this colt and his paternal half-siblings as they will be the sole yearling crop of Roaring Lion to head under the sale spotlights.

Consigned by Normandie Breeding, this son of Qatar Racing's champion is the first foal out of New Desire, the daughter of Dansili and Brigadier Gerard Stakes scorer New Morning.

New Morning is herself exceptionally well-related, being a full-sister to Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf and Yorkshire Oaks heroine Islington as well as Bayerisches Zuchtrennen winner Greek Dance and the stakes-winning Gold Cup third Election Day.

This colt's third dam, Hellenic, also won the Yorkshire Oaks and was second in the St Leger for good measure, while Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud scorer Mountain High and Queen's Vase winner Patkai are other family members.

Lot 266
Ch c Territories-Restiana (Kendargent)
Consigned by Haras de Colleville

By a promising second-season sire in Dalham Hall Stud resident Territories, who has enjoyed Group-race success in France with Prix des Reservoirs winner Rougir, this colt is from a family with plenty of black-type performers.

He is out of a Listed-winning full-sister to Criterium de Maisons-Laffitte winner Restiadargent - herself the dam of the stakes-winning Frankel colt Restiany - while further back in the page are Prix de Diane heroine Resless Kara, Prix des Reservoirs winner Restiver and Restless Mixa, the dam of Fille de l'Air winner Ma Preference.

Lot 310
B f Wootton Bassett-White Satin Dancer
Consigned by Ecurie des Monceaux

Wootton Bassett may have transferred to Coolmore's ranks but the former Haras d'Etreham resident will not be forgotten over the other side of the channel.

This filly has a particularly attractive damline, being out of a winning Oasis Dream half-sister to Park Hill Stakes scorer Wild Coco, as well as the triple German Listed winner Weltmacht, a daughter of Mount Nelson and dam of this season's Blue Riband winner Wirko.

Dam Satin Dancer is also related to two further black-type performers in German St Leger third Wilddrossel and the Listed-placed Wild Silva.

This is a family with a Germanic theme running through it, with the third dam, Preis von Koln winner Wild Romance, producing Deutsches St Leger victress Win For Us - herself responsible for Premio Vittorio di Capua second Win For Sure - and German Oaks and Guineas runner-up White Rose, the dam of three stakes winners.
