The catalogue for next week's Tattersalls August Online Sale has been released, with a diverse range of lots on offer including breeding rights, fillies and mares, horses in training from both codes and yearlings.

Taking place on Tuesday and Wednesday bidding for the sale will open from midday on the Tuesday and will close from midday on the Wednesday. The sale format means the extra time on closing lots has been reduced to two minutes from five minutes.

One of the highlights of the auction is last week's Listed Colm Quinn BMW Novice Hurdle winner Flaming Moon, a son of Born To Sea who impressed for trainer Matthew Smith at Galway. He is officially rated 122.

There are also breeding rights to Whitsbury Manor Stud stalwart Showcasing, the sire of 60 individual black-type winners including top-flight scorers Advertise and Quiet Reflection, as well as Aclaim, the sire of 1,000 Guineas winner Cachet, and Ribchester, the sire of four stakes winners including Commonwealth Cup second Flaming Rib.

Mares in foal on offer include Smoke Without Fire, a daughter of Lethal Force who is carrying to Havana Grey, Barbados Blue, a Listed-placed chaser who is in foal to Golden Horn, and Perfect Sensation, a Territories half-sister to Oh So Sharp Stakes winner Alsindi and carrying to Sergei Prokofiev.

Wildcard entries will be accepted until 5pm on Thursday (August 4), while details of lots, including photos and videos, can be found at www.tattersallsonline.com.
