Hello Youmzain delivers Haydock Sprint Cup win for Kodiac
Three-year-old colt was bred by Rabbah Bloodstock
Hello Youmzain landed the on Saturday to join middle-distance star Best Solution and Cheveley Park Stakes heroines Fairyland and Tiggy Wiggy as Group 1 winners by Tally-Ho Stud stallion Kodiac.
In a scintillating performance, the three-year-old colt made all and fended off the challenge of the previous year's winner The Tin Man close home.
Bred by Rabbah Bloodstock, Hello Youmzain also became the fifth elite winner out of a Shamardal mare along with Irish Classic scorers Awtaad and Latrobe, South African star Mighty High and Prix Morny heroine Pretty Pollyanna.
His dam, Spasha, is also the dam of dual Group 3 winner and German Derby third Royal Youmzain and Listed-placed Flat performer and Grade 2 hurdle winner Saglawy, both by Youmzain, and the Listed-winning sprinter Zuhoor Baynoona, a daughter of Elnadim.
Spasha also has a yearling colt by Dragon Pulse and a Dabirsim filly foal, and she visited No Nay Never this year.
Kodiac - who holds the record for the most juvenile winners in a single season - commanded a career-high fee of €65,000 in his 13th season at Tally-Ho this year.
