Exciting juvenile Charming Kid and Group 3 winner Julio added to Goodwood Sale
Exciting juvenile Charming Kid and the Group 3-winning sprinter Julio are the latest entries to be accepted for the Goffs UK Goodwood Sale that will be held after racing on the Wednesday of the Qatar Goodwood Festival on August 1.
The Richard Fahey-trained Charming Kid has run three times since being purchased for £105,000 at the Goffs UK Breeze-Up Sale.
The son of in-form first-season sire Charm Spirit made a taking winning debut over 5f at York and was last seen finishing a close third behind Advertise in the Group 2 July Stakes at Newmarket, an effort for which he received a Racing Post Rating of 105 and a provisional Hong Kong rating of 82.
The colt is a half-brother to five winners, notably the Grade 2 winner Juniper Pass, and is out of Child Bride, an unraced daughter of Grade 2 scorer - and close relation to Storm Cat - Chapel Of Dreams.

Charming Kid will be offered with an entry in the Group 2 Richmond Stakes, run less than 24 hours after the sale, and in the Group 2 Gimcrack Stakes at York on August 24.
